Sweetpotato and halloumi fries with a sweet chilli sauce, where crispy sweetpotato fries are paired with deliciously salty halloumi for a delightful twist on a classic snack.
Serving
For the sweetpotato and halloumi fries
- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 250 g halloumi cheese
- 500 g halloumi cheese
- 100 g plain flour
- 200 g plain flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp salt

For the chilli dip
- 150 g Greek yogurt
- 300 g Greek yogurt
- 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 6 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp lime Juice
- 2 tbsp lime Juice
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander

Directions
Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix all the chilli dip ingredients until well combined, then set aside.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine the plain flour, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. Mix well.
Step 4
Slice the ends off each sweetpotato and cut them into fries. Place the block of halloumi on a cutting board and slice it into 0.5 to 1 cm thick fries.
Step 5
Toss the halloumi and sweetpotato fries in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
Step 6
Arrange the coated fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Step 7
Spray the tops with oil and air fry for 9 to 10 minutes or until golden and crisp.
Step 8
Serve immediately with the sweet chilli dip.
