Spiced sweetpotato and banana smoothie


Serving

  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 1 medium cooked sweetpotato
  • 150 g Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 tsp maple syrup

Directions

Step 1

Peel and cut the sweetpotato in 1cm cubes and cook in boiling water until soft. You can use a knife or fork to puncture the cubes to ensure they’re cooked.

Step 2

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and serve in tumbler glasses.
